Duty and/vs. Responsibility

This English-language evening worship service reflects on one of the most challenging and thought-provoking biblical narratives: the story of Abraham and the binding of Isaac.

For centuries, this story has fascinated, unsettled, and raised profound questions: How can faith, obedience, and responsibility be understood in moments of deep moral conflict? What does it mean to follow what we believe is right – and how do we discern between duty and responsibility?

Rather than offering simple answers, the service invites participants to engage with these existential questions through prayer, music, and shared reflection. Together, we explore how this ancient story continues to speak into our lives today.

An evening of spiritual depth, dialogue, and community – open to all who are interested.
